I FINALLY have some great news…. It’s only taken 4 days for the doctors to decide to induce my daughter so Samuel could be born. He is absolutely beautiful…not bias much, LOL. He arrived on the 19th of Nov., 2009 at 1756 (5.56pm). His weight is 3550g or 7.13lbs. Length is 49.5cm or 19.5”
He has light strawberry blonde hair at the moment (his father is that colour) with blue eye’s. Mum has brown eye’s & dark brown hair, both parents have fair skin (which bubs’ was a beautiful deep pinkish colour. Sam came out with no real problems apart from being a bit sleepy. Mum had to go to surgery as she tore badly, & they put a block in so she was awake while they took 3 hrs at least to fix her up. She is now back on the ward with her baby & both are doing great. Will keep in touch… sorry for the delay but the doctors kept messing with us to what they wanted to do with her as 1 doctor was a mean streaked woman that wouldn’t let her be induced on Tuesday as planned. Manda (mummy) had labour pains & a constant “show” all week until last night, they said she could go home over-night & have a sleep in her own bed. Then come back in the morning first thing & they would induce her. Ok well….. they ring us at 5.30am to ask if we could come in a little later as they were over run at that time, she asked if it was still going ahead… then they said “Oh we are going to have a meeting to see!!!!”
Gee, by this stage we all had had enough & sick of being restless, not to mention her BP was going up & going to work as well to 3 weeks before he was born.
