I have the 11000 and it seemed to be running OK. Trying to finish up a project here and I now keep getting a "P foot Error". I am running on Ver 1.3 I know there is another update but if I install it, will I lose the hoop forward feature? I like this feature but need my machine running so that I can finish up several projects ASAP. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this error? I have tried everything that I can think of on my own so decided to ask the CUTIES for their help.

Can't answer you 'P' foot problem. I know if you update your software you will loose the hoop forward feature. I have the 11000 and when I had the purchase demo it had this feature. My machine came already upgraded. I have upgraded again to V2 SE as I wanted to quilt. I don't miss the hoop forward as I never had it! BUT I do miss the auto bobbin fill I had on my Elna - that machine had other problems tho and that's another story..... Thats why I have the Janome 11000 - would I go back the an Elna to get auto bobbin fill - NO NO NO NO.

So far, I have discovered that when the error comes up, if I turn the wheel towards me a wee bit, that I can get the machine to resume. LOL, but don't dare stop to trim jump stitches as they occur or it becomes frustrating to say the least!!
