If Dollygk reads this or can anyone else please tell me when you do embroidery to put on soap do you only use wash away solvy or whatever you call it. I would loved to make some for presents Thank

Dixie, I have never stitched a design for soap - but I would imagine that the WSS (water soluable stabilizer) could only be used on something like FSL - unless there was a netting or light weight material used for the design - if it was not a FSL design. Hope this helps! *4U

Hi Dixie, Yes, you need to have organza in the hoop, I added stabelizer but think you don't really need it. Just cut out each design leaving about 1/8th inch extra. I wet the area of the soap I'll add the design to, work it into a lather then press the wet design onto the soap. Let dry and as you know soap will dry solid again and the design stays stuck he he Good Luck!!
