Oh my, that is small, but they do grow so fast.

Deanna my oldest only weighed in at 3 lbs when she was born. She grew up to be the tallest, healthiest in the bunch . You never can tell how they will end up, the largest baby (weighed 8 lbs) is now the tiniest of all the girls & always has been since she was 5 yrs. old. She's now 48. God makes babies so they don't break easy & isn't that wonderful because we all have to learn on the 1st one. Lillian *

It's difficult to imagine that one day that little one will be grown up and healthy; but if it is in God's plan, then that is what will happen.
(Once I was a tiny little premature infant; you'd never know it now...)
Isn't it wonderful to take our grandchildren to church? It must be one of God's special blessings.

It is hard to think about a baby that small - but so many preamies are born these days and they all seem to grow up - eventually - mine were almost grown - when born - it would be hard to handle a little one. *4U

Did you get to hold her anyway? We could all use a little unbiased baby love.

When my triplet GDs came home from the hospital they were..3lb.14oz, 4lb.4oz, and 4lb.6oz. They were perfectly healthy but it was a bit frightening to handle them when they were that small. They will be 3 in January.

in a few years you probably don't notice anymore how small she was. But it's a little but scary to hold such a little one, particulary if it's someone elses baby.
