Don't get to stressed yet, it may not be as bad as yu may think. I to had a growth on my thyroid several years ago they the the ultrasound on it and finally did surgery and removed it and most of the thyroid. But don't fret it was not cancer. It was called Graves Disease/ Hashamottos Syndrome (probably did not spell that right.) But I did fine after surgery, could only whisper for a couple of weeks but no big deal. Just don't get to worried yet. I understand this happens often. Will say a prayer for you. Sara
