Hi, I made 2 of the pictured pillows for my dear friend Diane J for her birthday. The design is from Kim Bradley, and it is embroidered on purple velvet. The velvet was a big challenge to sew especially at the ends where I joined pink satin to it, I think they worked out well in the end!

Thanks Roxsy there is something sooooo luxurious about velvet!!! The satin is in the ends of the tied bits, which unfortunately don't show up in this photo. Ciao Claire
