Do any of you use Organ Brand Needles to embroider with? I've seen various sites where you can buy these in bulk. I usually buy a 4 pack at JoAnns, (on sale)but looking for a better buy. Thanks!!

Thanks for answering. I guess I should have asked HOW THEY STITCH OUT, and if anyone had any problems with them.
I use them always without trouble, and I take large eye because it is more easy for my eyes.
Good idea about the eyes. Thanks.

I use Organ needles, at the recommendation of another Cutie, and have been quite satisfied. I've only had one breakage since I started using them and that was definitely an operator error. Previously I used Schmertz needles and was breaking one or two a day.

Isn't sharing this kind of info great??? Thanks for answering, and your "Operator Error" comment ... we all have them. *4U

gg, I buy Organ Brand Needles for my embroidery - in bulk and I have really enjoyed the difference in price - when you think about it - you will have a needle on hand for any embroidery job and not have to worry about that for a long while - when you purchase them - if you have another embroidery friend - you could split the cost, too. *4U

Thanks for your comment. It sure sounds like the "bulk purchase" is the way to go. And yes, I have someone in mind to share the cost with. Don't want to run out of them. * back at ya!!

Yes and I buy a 100 box at a time. I like using a new needle regularly and it is surprising how quickly they get used. Sometimes I share them with a friend but I seem to use needles at a faster rate than she does

Thanks for your comment. Since I have been buying them in a 4 pack, I don't change them as often as I probably should. Good way to make friends ... share your sewing supplies. *4U

I purchased some at Shoppers Rule. Let me tell you I did over 50 different hoopings (25 hoopings using felt) using an Organ Brand Titanium 11/75 ball point large eye before something I did to mess it up bent the needle. I am sold! I will only purchase (and have purchased) Organ Titanium from now on. I now own over 100 of the titanium 11/75 sharp and ball point and 100 of the 14/90 needles.

Thanks for the info. I'm a little leary about the Titanium ones, but might check them out. Looks like they really work on felt. Thanks for the site also. *4U.

Yes these needles are great. I have been using them for several months now. I think it is best to order in bulk. I order from Discount Embroidery Supply. There is no charge on shipping as long as you order $20.00 worth. But I would check the prices of the different sites you have been given and see what suits you best. i use the Titanium ones they are great. Sara

OK ladies, which is better, ball point or sharp point... and why titanium??

I always use the Organ regular needles, not titanium, and I love them. My Brother Quatro seems to like them a lot more than she did Schmetz needles. I buy my needles from Discount Embroidery supply, and I use both ballpoint and sharp needles, depending on what fabric I'm embroidering.

Thanks .. another shopping site. I have been buying the Schmetz .. on sale with a coupon. Never thought about these different bulk sites till I got the idea from all the CUTIES. Thanks again. *4U

I use Organ Brand 80/12 regular needles. I started using titanium but switched to regular and have not had any problems. They cost $10.25 for 100 needles. I used both sharp and ball point, both work great.

This is a very interesting read. I dont use titanium needles mainly due to the cost BUT from reading all the positive comments on them I will be asking a friend to pick up 100 when they visit their daughter next. They are much cheaper in some parts of the world than others. Happy sewing folks
