Thanks Ros, and you're right I finished it 45mins before I gave it to her!!! Started from scratch the day before, drafted the pattern and all - it is lined with pink satin but I didn't get a photo of that. Maybe I'll make another one some time in the new year. Hugs Claire

This is a very pretty bag. I have a pattern and have made a few but was wondering what you use to make it stiff enough to stand up. Thanks

Hi Sandy, I used some quilting wadding between the outside and the lining and I also fused medium weight interfacing onto the lining. It didn't need anything more in the bottom as this seemed sufficient. Good luck with making yours. Cheers Claire
