Sorry to hear about your machine. Hope you get your gifts made at sometime. I am beginning to think that Christmas in July is not a bad idea at all

I agree with Christmas in July. I hope your machine is not gone too long and maybe it will be an easy "fix" Hugs Mary

That's exactly what I'm saying to myself claude. got to get at it earlier. My problem is the older I get the slower I get. LOL.. At least you got your new glasses & that's a blessing. You should have your machine back soon. Have a nice Christmas. Lillian *

get them a beautiful card with an IOU in it saying the gifts are coming....or just put a snapshot of the gifts inside the card with an explanation....Its the thought that is more important...Merry Christmas....

Camylow's idea is a great one; the IOU lets the person know that they are special enough to you to want to persevere with making them something special - a gift from the heart, rather than just throwing hands up in the air & throwing things in too hard basket, and when they do receive their gifts they will be all the more special to them. Have a Merry Christmas & God bless.

Claude, I am sure your family loved whatever you gave them and when you finish the project and give it to them - whether it is when it is finished or next Christmas - I do hope you get a good start on your embroidery work and I say - make something for Christmas each month - it make is so much easier and if you can devote another month to just sticting mainly your Christmas projects - you will be happier in the end. Merry Christmas and happy stitching! *4U

Oh, I know you must have been so disapointed! Don't be frustrated, life is too short. You have plan B so I hope it all worked out. I figured out that when my plans go awry I'm the only one that knows it! Just smile and pretend it is exactly what you intended and you can give them a gift "just because" when your machine gets back from hospital.;)
