The picture looks like a painting! It is beautiful on paper but am glad that I do not have to deal with that much snow at anytime! I can barely walk throught the house must less in that kind of stuff. A very short visit would be nice but even when it is it's coldest here, we do not have that kind of snow. Was that taken close to where you live? I kinda pictured you for a city girl like me. Of course, if I was in Tn. mountains and had plenty of heat and food, I would stay buried all winter long. I have actually only been up there twice when it was snowing although we went 3 times a year for many years. The snow was wonderful but it was C-O-L-D-E-R up there in the snow than it was here in Ga. in the snow! I has to wait until they salted the pass between Gatlinburg and Cherokee to drive back toward home. The car never warmed up until we got back in Ga. I had 2 days off in a row and my asst. swapped another day with me so I could have 3 and my son and I took off to Tn. When we got snowed in, I had to call the boss and tell her that I was snowed in and we were in Tn. She thought I was kidding but kept her cool when she realized we were not kidding. She never let me forget that time. She gets carsick riding in the mountains and hates the snow. I had not been working with them too long when that happened and I was still there when she sold the place. I worked for them for 24 1/2 yrs. She didn't get too upset! I miss my trips to Tn. but I can not have fun like I used to have. It hurts too much to try and get around. The picture is just beautiful but just sitting here, it makes my bones hurt!

Merry Christmas to you from Alabama, it is my first Christmas with the Cute family I will try to post some pics of the GD later tonight. She was the center of our pic taking. My daughter and her boyfriend gave me a card with a note to choose 25 spools of thread of my choice from Metro. So now I gotta choose them and order them today or tomorrow. ( She enclosed in the card so I could make her some things. LOL
