WOW is everything downsizing? I went to Joan's Fabric today. This is the 1st time I bought sewing thread in a while. The spools are getting smaller...FIESTA ANYHOW ;D

And that is not all---what was 45" material isn't any more and if you get "JoAnn's Fabric" it has a white stamp on edge that is at least 1" wide so you lose that inch.

It does seem everything is downsizing but the PRICE! That always seems to creep up

I went to Hancock's fabric last week and bought some prequilted material. There was about 4 inces left on the bolt when I got mine, she asked if I wanted, but I would have to pay for the extra, I told her to cut it off, I didn't want it. Some of these stores are getting so cheap that I don't even like shopping there, but I don't really have a choice if I want to keep sewing.

I also went to JoAnns one day, I wasnt even asked if I wanted the extra inch, but they gave it to me, and was charged for it, 1 INCH!!!
