I always combine designs in my software program, rather than on the machine as it gives more control over placement and thread stitch out.

I have a brother so don't know about Singer. But on my machine is a special button for combining several designs in one. before this machine I had another who didn't have that function in that case i combined it in my PC embroidery programm in Layout&Editing.and then I saved the file as one design to embroider.

Welcome to cutie!!!!! I use me software program viking 4D to combine designs and stitches. there are other programs that are available that can combine designs, do your homework before purchasing any programs though. I purchased mine because I was new to embroidery and the dealer told me I needed to have this paticular program for my machine. After purchasing and learning about the different progams that are available I would have purchased another program instead.

Open your first design and get it where you want it. Then save. Go to paste on left of screen and find the next design you want to use. Arrange this one then save again.Use save as and rename so you don't mess up your original design.
