I use a Bernina 440 but I'm unable to digitize on it without spending $400-$500. Can I just digitize from my computer with another program like Embird? Is it cheaper than Bernina's Editor?

I actually followed her advice and joined a group that is featuring tutorials on how to use Embird. Looks like fun. Thank you for your help.
