I am so glad everything worked out alright. Now he must heal. Isn't it funny what technology can do today. My son in law had some pins put in his neck about 2 years ago and they e-mailed me the x-ray. Amazing.

For a number of years my husband had a titanium rod from the hip socket to almost the knee. When it was removed he kept it and put it out for all to see. Your posting reminds me I have not seen it recently

Now isn't that just like a young man. glad he's doing well Laura. I hate to pour cold water on u but in the future he will have arthritis in that area. I have never yet seen it fail. Lillian

Lillian, we have kinda talked about that...right now though, I will be happy to have some good news when he goes to the doctors on Friday. He can't put any weight on it til after the doctor checks it out. I believe he will be on crutches for a long time.
