I've got quite a selection of metro threads and they seems to work great on my designer 1, my friend has a singer futura and they work great on her machine also. I think it's on metro.com...

I use the thread from Metro and did a whole bunch of FSLs for Christmas Cards. No problems with my Baby Lock either.

I also have the Metro Thread and I simply love it.
I have tried the Maderia Rayon thread and my machine did not like it. The metro thread is polyester and it sews well for me and my machine. If you are going to do something that has to be washed a lot or frequently you want to use polyester thread because it holds it's color better, that has been my experience. Also try the Discount Embroidery Supply for needles. There is no charge for shipping as long as you order at least $20.00. Good luck. Metro has a sale on now.

I had a shipping charge just now whwen I ordered ????? i just ordered every spool color of thread...yeah..now I have spools coming out of my ears
Hey just so you know there is always a shipping o charge on Metro thread. I had stated earlier that there is not a shipping charge on Discount Embroidery Supply where I order my needles. sorry if there was any confusion. Sara.

They state they ship worldwide, however the 20 big spool package is $40 at the moment, shipping it ww $128.40!!
