I have to use a box also-and I bought Embird so I can do many things with my designs now. When I first started I knew NOTHING but after joining Embird4Beginners yahoo group I have learned alot. Well worth the price.

I use Stitch Era Univeral. It is free except for shipping charges. Cost me $9.95 from Loralie. Does lots of things I haven't figured out yet but doing lettering is easy. I can add lettering to other designs I have too. Fun to try new things. I use PED Basic card. Good luck. Nanc

Here is another editing program which is simple to use and has a free 30 day trial period or 60 saves, (which ever comes first.)The 60 saves means you can edit files and save each one of them as a separate file until you reach the limit of 60, before your trial period is up..It isn't expensive and they have a wonderful support team on yahoo..also have several other free trial periods for other software..sew iconz, sewart pro, sewclean...I have them all but the sew catalog..
