I pieced the center airplanes because they were i the air force

I put Mother's side in the left
father's side on the right
when they landed in America until now

I used 4D software and used Iron interfacing so the material would not stretch during sewing and add a little stiffer interfacing I just laid it under the hoop used the 360X200 hoop and hooped about 5 X over lapping the one before so it looked closer together

The wonderful work you have put into this shows that you have a great love and respect for family! You did an exceptional job on this! You should be very proud of your efforts and outcome of this quilt. You have given the future generations a way of connecting with their family roots! NOW, how hard was it to come up with all this info or had it been kept through the generations? I would not know where to start with our family to collect this info. I am not too sure I would really want to go back that far. Almost afraid of what I might find out. I know that my Dad's Mom was made out of great stuff but not too sure I would want to dig on the other side......What is that old saying about letting sleeping dog lay? You should get a hundred flowers from each person on this! Sorry :(

thank-you I mostly found every thing on Ancestry.com once you start your tree you will find some one else has you and your family already their or Rootsweb.com and look for your people not has heard as you think but thank-you for the wonderful comment it makes me feel great about my work when you can share it give it to people who will Charis it for ever
