Would I, Should I,, Could I,,, use a denim needle to embroider on a canvas tote?

I stitched 18 canvas grocery sacks for Christmas presents, they were heavyweight and some I did very dense designs on. I used 75/11 needles on the redwork designs but for the dense (25,000 plus stitches) I did use the 90/14. They turned out beautifully. Blessings!

Try an 80 and if if breaks go to a 90. Always start with the smaller. try a 80 titanium sharp if you have one.
