Here, as promised, is the completed Valentine Card I've just finished making with the cupid I drew and digitised earlier. The "lace" surround is parchment craft, done in two layers and completely freehand with minimal tools as I've put all my stuff in a "safe place" - so safe that I can't remember where it is! I like the combination of the embroidery and the parchment. Give it a try - I shouldn't say this, I should let you think it's incredibly complicated, but it's really nowhere near as difficult as it looks! My website (http://hands-and-heart.net78.net/ ) has basic instructions plus lots of patterns to download and trace - and you know by now, I don't charge for my stuff. Very pretty! Is the parchment the same as what is used for baking? You did a great job on this valentine.

The parchment paper you use for parchment craft (also clled Pergamano, which is its trade name) is thicker than baking parchment and you can buy it at most craft shops and definitely on the internet! I'll have to try baking parchment to see if that works too - if it does, it'll be cheaper! Love and flowers fropm Dianne x x x

Thank you. I didn't think of it a "grand!" I don't sell my cards, nobody would be willing to pay what they're worth in time and effort, so I only make them for special people and special occasions.
