thank you that might work good for metalic thread, my machine even has a special bobbin and holder for using with heavier threads. Never thought of going backwards LOL

Welcome back! And thanks for the link! This is an interesting concept! It seems that no matter what I do, I have terrible luck with Metallics. I even bought the special needles. I will deffinately give this idea, a try!

Eva, we missed you. Thanks for the information. Couldn't find the video, but will try doing the metalics with the bobbin and see if that works for me. Have lots of problems with metallic threads.
