I like the red. Matches reds in designs.
by raels011 31 Jan 2010
I think the red brings out the colours in the blocks
by lbrow 31 Jan 2010
Deanna I think the red is more in harmony as I look at it, but whatever the color I know I will love it. *
by meganne 31 Jan 2010
I prefer the red as the blocks stand out better. Hugs n roses, Meganne

I like the red border.

I think the red brings out the designs better - however, if green is Miss Loretta's favorite color, do you think that the green could be used as another of the colors?
by dlmds 31 Jan 2010
Deanna, love this red. H&*

I personally like the green as I think it's softer, but it depends where it is to go! If you want it to be striking, the red is more likely to stand out, I think.
by shirlener88 31 Jan 2010
Deanna, didn't you say that the backside would be red? If so - I think I like the green for the contrast - I know Loretta would prefer the green - as that is her favorite color. But if more like the red, no worries.
by camylow 31 Jan 2010
shirlene, the back is red, but there are also 2 other colors going around the quilt....the choice is just around the blocks only...like in the other posting for color choice,,,this is narrowed down to the green and red..now I need a final....

I like the green.

The green looks more cozy and doesn't overtake the blocks and you notice what is in the blocks more.
by jasanne 31 Jan 2010
I like the green, it seems gentler somehow.
by dlmds 31 Jan 2010
I like the red it flows with many of the blocks as most have some red in them. H&*

Like them both, slight preference for the green.

I prefer the green.

I believe I prefer the green for block borders. It seems more calming to the eye. I also thing the designs show up more. With the red you tend to see the red first and then the designs. However, they both look good. We trust your decisions. Look how well the last one turned out.

Hi Deanna,

As Shirlene has said Miss Loretta's favourite colour is green, so maybe use the green on the front and red on the back. As you have said there are other borders etc. to use too.

Love and blessings Chris

personly I prefer the red, I think it's a nice warm color to express the warmth we feel.
but If green is miss loretta's favorite color and the back is already red also, perhaps we should choose the color green. It's difficult, but they are both lovely.*4u!
