I do not understand why so many of the older members of our site do not know the difference between "personal" and "public". I do not mean to hurt any feelings or make anyone feel bad. I have always thought that "public was for embroidery, sewing, and etc. questions. If I am wrong about my perception of the meanings, please feel free to let me know I am wrong. Thanks.

No dlmds YOU are not wrong! BUT I am sorry,

You must remember ...

There are always exceptions to the rule!

I have noticed that the "Pets" or "Favorites" are exempt from the "Cute correct postings" tutorial. I speak for myself when I say "" Thank You for your "attentiveness""
I believe what is good for one is good for all and I do NOT see that being practiced here.
Do not get me wrong I am so very sincerely sorry for the hardships that "Cuties" are going through... BUT there is a Tab for personals to make that be known. I did not know that after I post in personals I should also come back to community and remind cuties to go to personals to see my post.
I am not looking for enemies I am just trying to figure out "The Rules"

Please Psssst do not take it personally. I was wondering about the members that have been here along time. To me it makes sense to post in "public" to check "personals". I am with you--it breaks my heart to know the struggles that our family goes thru. I have been here a little longer then you and I am still trying to figure out the rules. I try to follow some of the rules that Shirlene applies, as she has it all figured out. She is such an awesome person. H&*

So sorry, but sometimes I will post some of the wrong things in the wrong place too, because public sounds to me not like only sewing etc. I posted some photo's of two cuties having fun in the sun here too. Sorry, will try to do it right next time. Thanks for bringing it up though.
Hugs and God bless
Marietta

Marietta, You are correct, guess this is why I am also confused about it all. I saw the pictures, and really enjoyed them. So I still wonder about the "Rules". H&*

You are right, dimds, but it is so easy to make a mistake, we must all be attentive before to click, after it is too late. It is good to repeat the rules. Hugs Claude

well Sorry, but i thought personal was about real personal stuff :like illness, sad or just happy personal matters. and in freebies the links for free designs. and in public things that are nice for the whole public, but not only ot strictly about embroidery.

This might be a good time to remind folks that if they see a + number in the private tab they have a message from someone on the site and they should check it and respond. That was created so we could ask individual people questions that may not be of interest to the whole community. If everyone would remember to check that tab then people would not have to post about the pm message in the community section. I think Veronika has developed a lot of nice features for us to use and we need to try to use them as intended. Just think if all of the postings on all of the tabs were in the community it would take forever to sort through them.

You are not wrong, Sally. I believe Cuties should make a habit to go to the personal tab, so one would be confident on posting on there knowing that it would be read. I go to the personal often, trying help Cuties on need of prayers or a word of support. Love, Yoriko

Sometimes we "OLDER" members of Cute think that a message is far too important to post it in personals, because we want everyone to see it, not just the few who go to the personals tab.

And Yes I am frequently guilty of this, just as you are now for posting this message here instead of in personals. LOLOLOLOL!!!!!! :-))))

Hugs n roses, Meganne
