I will be traveling with guest from Europe and will check in only occasionally. This is no big loss since most of the time the request was and will be unsuccessful anyway. It no longer worked the way when I first started being with Cutes and LETVIA did the organization. I can understand why she quit. I had wanted to help some of the cuties that missed their letters. I personally have always been a paid member, but not everyone can afford the membership. BUT may I remind some of you that Veronika gives so freely FREE designs and truthfully some of the demanding comments and request have offended me. When my guests leave and I will again be able to check in daily I only want to concentrate on the caring and good part of CUTES.

Crafter I can understand your frustration, there is allways at least one in every crowd. No matter what you give they want more and appreciate it less. Given the nature of the internet it invites this behavior. Also this site is really designed as a chat site only, making and maintaining lists is just to hard.

It is truly a shame that some folk become so accustomed to receiving kindness and generosity that they start to take it forgranted and become mean-spirited and demanding, instead of realizing how priviledged they are to have been able to receive even one thing for free.

As a member who digitises, you would be shocked at some of the unreasonable, and totally lacking in common courtesy, requests I receive. Thankfully, they are well in the minority.
And please don't get me wrong, I love digitising for my Cute family but there is the odd one or two who expect everything for nothing and don't have any idea what please or thank you is, and hey, that is the only payment digitising Cuties ever ask for... a thank-you.
I do hope you enjoy your upcoming travels.

Well said Meg, I agree. It's amazing how rude people can be! As if the fact that you can digitise means you have to do so when ordered and I really mean ordered, not asked.

Sweetie, I don't digitize, but when I am asked to embroider 12 of something, I know the feeling. Forget trying to explain that it has 24000 stitches, and you are doing it for less than $10. They are clueless!!
