have tried deleting & re-downloading - but the result is the same - can't extract the files with winzip & can't explore the folder with Windows; (I did not want to have to download all the letters one at a time as I only have dialup & it is a slow tedious exercise)

You could contact Veronika through the 'Contact us' link at the bottom of the page.
Which format did you download? One of us could download the same and try opening it, see if we have the same problem.

I figured out the problem, so, at the risk of boring you all, I'm putting the solution here just in case anyone else is interested or has has similar difficulties downloading on another occasion:
the problem was that my computer quit downloading before it obtained the whole file (probaly due to electrical storms in this part of the world)so when I tried to explore or extract the contents of the zipped file, it was an invalid file that windows could not explore,etc;
the reason that deleting the downloaded file & downloading again did not work was because I had not deleted the temporary internet files which still contained the corrupted version; when I both deleted the downloaded file and deleted the temprary internet file via delete browsing history, I was able to download a fresh entire zipped file which is ok (and bigger than the corrupted one) (P.S.I'm really pleased the problem was easy-fixed because the embossed fonts are lovely!)
