Metro has a program that keeps your inventory and a conversion chart. Enter brand and color and it will give you the compatible Metro Thread. It is free

I use Metro's Color Match program and it's very helpful. And, very easy to use.

have you tried www.threadchart.info? it lets you convert from any manufacturer to any other, including metro. You can also see all the colors and pick perhaps a better one than the auto selector gives you. I just think it has more choices so have started using it. good luck!
