I have a bros pe700 and have checked out pe design, but it's a lot of money for a software that I'm not even sure I can use.

Hi and welcome to Cute. I have a Brother machine too and PE design. I am not much good at the digitising so dont feel up to offering useful help. Someone will come along who is good at digitising and hopefully give you the answer that you need. Otherwise happy sewing

Embird is liked by a number of embrodiers. I have Viking software but it is expensive.

Don't know what machine you have and softwear they offer, but they may also offer free lessons. I have Bernina and I still don't know it's full extent.I get by on my limited knowledge.

I have Viking software, the Pro version, which is very expensive and I have Embird, which is inexpensive and a joy to use. Most of the designs I uploaded in Designs by Cuties are made in Embird. I'd recommend that to anyone, whatever your machine except when you need ART. In that case you have to use the special software.

When you click on the 'software' tab you'll more Q&A on this subject.

U will get many answers, weigh them out & decide what is best for u. I am not a digitizer although I have the means to do so. Embird was my choice for the money, & user friendly & so many people have it. *
