Inspired by marymilf41 (thanks again for the pattern Mary!!) I made a towel to my wonderful MIL Inga - she will be 90 in 2 weeks. I tried to make it look like the traditional dress from where Inga is born - a so called vaerendsdress. I will try to post a photo below of Inga with her granddaugthers, one wearing Ingas vaerendsdress. The towel is terrycloth and both front and back is double (yes it was thick and hard to sew...). The back is folded outwards so it is easy to dry the hands. The front is decorated with things than can be washed. I hope. It was so much fun to make, so now I can't wait till next weekend to have another try. Happy Valetine by the way! / Peggy
