Inspired by marymilf (again) with her otter and other quilted animals, I bought a pattern (Silver Linings) and gave it a try... It is quilted on both medium thick batting and then some extra under the head so it's a bit 3 dimensional. It is not as red in real life, but I'm not a good fotografer. I think I will have to buy more material though (not that I'm complaining about that) so I have better colors to choose among. But I'm quite pleased with this dog as a first try. It will be a present for my MIL 90th birthday, she had a golden called Happy many years ago and still miss him. /Peggy
