More embossed towels. I am getting hooked on these. These are our own Veronika's designs. I am having a hard time picking out the topping from small areas. Any one have tips to make it easier. Kay

Beautiful! I love these, I'd be doing these designs too if only they'd fit my hoop :-( I use water-soluble stabiliser (WSS) on the top side of towels (tearwaway beneath) then it just rinses away, even in the tiniest spaces. Love and a flower from Dianne x x x

This is what I use also I just didn' t want to wash the towels I stitch to sell. I kind of takes the new away. I also hated to take them into the shop with pieces of topping, help!!
Use the stabiliser that can be removed with a hot iron - works fine for me.
I do have some of this "heat N Gone" by Florian. It is quite expensive.Do you know another source? I realize you probably buy locally.

how about using water soluable on the top, then just use your finger dabbed in water to wipe away the bits that don't pull off?

Just go to your linen closet and practice on some of your towels that you already have. I will post some later that I used as practice.

Use a topper that removes with your iron -- heat shrink. I have used it with good results on things to give as gifts that I didn't want to wash or spray water on to remove washaway.

Beautiful! Nicely done! I use the real thin wss for the top and it usually removes very easily from the small areas with a warm damp wash cloth.

thanks for showing. Love them both. Want to do lots for myself later and this helps me choose lol. I always use wss and I just dab tiny bits of water on it with my finger and it just disappears. So no need to wash at all

These look great Kay. I was told by the lady at my viking store to use WSS on top. Instead of washing out, cut as close as possible to stitches--then use tweezers to hold on to what is left, and use a wet Q-tip to melt/cut away any leftover. The towel will still look like new. I did this method on velvet stockings at Christmas time and it worked great.
