I usually offer half price as well. They will counter offer with a price they will accept. Then you decide if you want to buy or not. Good luck!

Usually, the price has to be close to the asking price. I bought 2 pair of nice embroidery scissors from there one time. I think they only discounted them $3.00 total.

I have been upset with Shoppers Rule as their service has deteriorated a lot lately.
First they sent a cheap pair of magnified tweezers instead of a pair of fine point snip scissors.

Then the universal machine extension table ($68) was missing crucial adjustment parts that make it able to fit all machine.

Then an order for 100 spools of thread only contained 96 spools, 6 double up colours and absolutely NO Yellows.

To top all this off one order took 6 weeks to get here instead of the normal 10 to 21 days.

I think they may be short staffed, which means staff are overworked and not paying enough attention to what they are doing, or they are angry with management and deliberately stuff up orders to make customers disgruntled with the company.?????

As for making an offer they usually only accept offers around 5 - 10% less than their asking price, but good luck!

I have only bought a few things there and have been satisfied with what I purchased.
