Can you use the Cricut Expression machine for cutting applique designs? I love doing applique, but hate having to cut the fabric parts..LOL

I've been told that you can. =o) I bought a special blade to cut fabric and was told that it is wonderful. But since I bought it at about the same time I got my sewing/embroidery machine can you guess what happened? My poor Cricut hasn't been out of the closet. I also bought a special blade to cut some stuff to do a monogram to go on the window of my daughter's car for Christmas. LOL Maybe she will get it for her birthday in August.

Good question; wonder if you iron the fabric onto freezer paper to make it stiff, and then cut???
Waiting to hear and will check their website.

you do add a iron fusable on the back before you can cut it, I don't know what the right kind is you use but then material sticks to the matt, you iron it on to project, stitch, done.
