put in, and it was going even better. Last Friday he had a fall, dislocated his thumb ( it was standing on the top of his hand), Grazed his knees so badly that I could no longer get it better. The hospital just pulled the thumb back in, and said we had to contact the orthopeadic surgeon to make sure the thumb was O.K., as soon as we could get a appointment. I had to take him to our doctor who had to clean the wound on the right knee up again,(he is also diabetic) and hope it will be better now too. Today I had to take his X-ray of the hand to the specialist while I left him and mom at the hospital for his ears (He is pretty deaf), and I was promptly sent back to fetch him. He now has a plaster cast which he has to wear for 3 weeks, and is not a happy chappy because of it.
Please pray that he has no more accidents, because I hate seeing him like this. My 85 year old dad is a very special dad, and we love them both to bits.

It is hard to watch them age and become frail. You are very lucky to have a father that age. Just love him and you both do the best that you can. He has pride in still doing things, so that is good, you wouldn't want him to just lay down and quit. I'm praying for him to be safe and for you to trust and not worry. ;)

Marietta, so sorry to hear about your dads accident.

Please also say a prayer for my husband (Mike) he was working in the garden this morning and hurt his back again, he has had 2 back operations already. He has been flat on his back the whole day. He Did not want me to take him to the doctors. will see how he is tomorrow.

Yvonne, I am so sorry about Mike. There is nothing as bad as back ache. I really hope it goes better soon. Of course I will pray for him and you. You must also keep strong to help him.

Thank you Marjorie, I know it must be a terrible miss, I cannot actually think how it will be, but my folks are now realy getting "old" and I will miss them teribly when they go one day.

Ogh!! you know, I think I have more trouble now with my mom, because she is still very active lady, and do not want to be helped, but we are managing fine.
