I used to frequent here all the time but have since moved and had a second child and lots and lots of health problems. I am finally feeling better and ready to get the machine back out. I want to make an outfit for a friends little girl for her 1st birthday and want to monogram it but I do not have any software. What do you reccomend I do? I have a Brother PE-700II and LOVE it I just wish there was some cheaper software out there for people like me who just dabble with it.

I Have a PE-700ll too. The ABC or built in to your machine their 6 different ones. When you turn your machine on where the AB on your machine this is where you abc are.

Thanks but I am wanting the center letter larger than the two outer ones. Is there anyway to do that?

There are options to make the letters Small, Medium or large. You could use Large for the center and make the outer letters either medium or small.

I just want it to be pretty and not too large. It is for a 1 year olds dress. So maybe 3 inches tall at most. The letter and are CPE (in that order). Thanks.

I am uploading to Cuties, it will be CPE With the P larger than the C and E total width is 2.75 inches..let me know if it is right or not. Not Tested so please test!

In your machine when you look on the right side you will see "S", "M", and "L". You will have to load them one at a time. You can do your first letter for instance "M" then do your set. Next letter the middle one "L" and set. Next go back to the beginning as you did with the first 2, and load "M" again. I hope you understand what I am trying to say, if not ask somemore. H&*

Thank you for your tips. I am just afraid I wouldn't get the letters to line up correctly.
by dlmds 25 Feb 2010
Don't you have a screen on the right side that you can line them up in? H&*

It will not allow you to use different size letters in 1 file.

You could always put a name for a 1 yr old, if you are having trouble different size letters, all in caps. Let us see what you make. Good luck!!! I remember you. Hope you feel better. Kay
