breakfast. Went to say good bye to her husband and found him stiff and cold in bed. She lives an 8 hour drive away from me so I can not get to the funeral. She called tonight and we cried and laughed and cried some more on the phone for a long time. Please keep Barb and her 2 children Michael 19 and Kristen 16 in your prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this. It will be such a hard time for your cousin. Keep in contact with her often, not always does one want to be isiolated at such a time. Talking helps. My prayers are with you and her family.
Be there for her as much as you can...Hugs Kerry

Cindy, I will lift your cousin and family up in prayer, as well as you. I know the older I get the more I realize how short my time is with my dear hubby.(one doesn't even have to be older) Everyday must be made special with our loved ones. God bless, Judy *4U

Thank you Lillian. Sometimes we don't know what we have until it is gone. I last saw Tom on Thanksgiving and had a long conversation with him, I am so greatfull for that time.

Cindy, I'm so sorry for your loss, but am glad that you could share with your cousin. It helps to be able to talk to someone, so please keep calling her in the next weeks. I pray for her and the children as I lost a parent at 14 and it can be horribly upsetting. Urge her to go to grief counciling, it will help her in the long run.

Thank you for your prayers and insight about grief counseling. Never thought about that. This would probably really be good for her since none of the family live near her. *4U

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin's sudden sad loss; she and her family as well as you will be in my prayers; your friend will understand about the distance and there will be others at the funeral, but you can be of great support to your friend over the next couple of years by phoning her from time to time to chat & reassure her that you are there for her. God bless you for caring.
