Here are another 3 Hymn book covers I made for My MIL to give to friends at her church.
They call each other "brother" ("Broer" in afrikaans) or "sister"
They loved the cover which I made for her with her Christmas gifts.
Made with felt, made a flat in the inside for book to fit into and just overlocked it and did embroidery with names on it.
The bottom picture did not come out very clear, it is with verigated thread.

They must have been pleased with those. I like the idea of using felt, so much quicker than lining a chosen material.
