No, I haven't heard any news but they are constantly on my mind.

the latest news I got was on 23-02.this is what she wrote me;

"Thank you for your thoughts - we are trying to manage with each day - whatever comes and it seems that every couple days - things change - Rick has transferred to the U of U on the 17th - that evening a CNA allowed him to fall and he hit his head - he had a couple days that I felt he wasn't as clear and active as he had been - with each day - I spoke with the doctors asking them to check him - but not until Saturday - did one do a scan of any sort - they put him in the neurological critical unit and he has had several test ran - they found he had two large blood clots and several small ones - so they installed a vena cava filter and they are watching the blood in the brain - they might do another procedure tomorrow and then start to thin his blood - if his brain isn't bleeding.

When I heard from Shirlene, the news was the same as what Gerryvb related. Shirlene was on this site briefly on her birthday (yesterday or day before) and I wonder if there is an update here in personals. Look for added messages.

I received an email from Shirlene this morning 28/02 but it was only about eating healthy. No added message.
Please keep praying for Shirlene and Rick, I am sure they are doing it very tough right now.
