So glad to hear from you. I find myself logging on several times a day looking for an update. You are doing a good job taking care of things--hopefully, things will calm down and get easier for you. SLC is beautiful. My parents lived on North 1340 West--not far from the Capitol. I last flew there in March 2008, and by air it is simply gorgeous. They have since moved back to California to be closer to us. My mom had several surgeries there at the Univesity Hospital and thinks they are the best. Big Hug from me to you :)

Honestly I cannot imagine how one will cope with such a huge doctors bill...it is mind blowing.

Dear Shirlene,
I'm so glad to hear that Rick is making progress with his recovery. Don't worry about the hospital bills. They reflect the charges before insurance pays their part. If all the care, tests, and surgery that Rick has had is covered by your insurance, then you should only be responsible for your deductible. In any case, try not to worry. The two of you need each other, and God will help with everything else. I'll continue my prayers for the two of you.
