the heck of it he calls them (they are in Ok) and asks if you can get the machine without the frame (I already have that) and how much, then the guy asks what are you using on your frame name and dh tells him a Juki - welllllllllll seems that since the Juki is such a workhorse they have been modifiying these machines into long arm quilters! He says right now they are backed up til summer but word is spreading fast. So for $1700 I could have my Juki made into one of those long arm quilters. Sound good what do you guys think?

That is interesting. I saw those Gammill babies at the quilt and sew expo last year. They cost as much as a car. I guess you would have to be in the quilting business to justify that investment. I think I saw a Happy, a Tin Lizzy and a Brother quilting machines also. Did your husband check with them also?
