I just got a Futura SES1000 I have no clue what to download. It says in my book something about Vector Art. I am very new at this.

I love my Singer Futura.. Can use any format I choose. I love the fact that it is so easy to change the size of the designs to fit what I'm making. Only down side is no larger hoop size. Have fun.

Vector art is basicly the printed picture of the item you want to turn into embroidery designs. This is what digitizers do. I'm thinking since you're brand new, what you want is ready to sew embroidery designs. So you will need to download the design in the format your machine uses. I believe Singer uses the "SEW" format. It should explain this in your owners manual. You will need to look for the "format" recommended by the manufacturer. Hope this helps...good luck.

welcome to the world of embroidery and cuties !!! vector art is just a type of graphic but after a vector has been digitized and saved you dl your format which I believe is sew. there are programs that will change files to different formats so you can save in other formats and switch the design later.
I would take it your machine either uses a usb or connects right to your computer, so you would save a design on your computer then transfer it to your machine.
hoop your stabilizer and thread machine and you are off LOL
