Sorry that I have not come back sooner but my 3G card run out of data and I had to wait for it to be replenished. Too everybody who gave me inspiration when I told you about my father's accident. I really appreciated the support received. News is - he has lost sight in the eye but the doctor hopes to save the eye itself in that he won't need artificial eye. My dad has to decide now whether he wants to go ahead with removing the cataract from his other eye which can bring it to 100% vision (not sure whether without glasses). Obviously he will be scared but I am sure through prayer he will make the right decision. Nevertheless the most important thing is his spirits are up and I am so grateful for this. As a matter of fact my mom started to complain about what he has been up toobut better to live than to sit and wait to die. Eleen

My late mother had cateracts in both eyes, they were both operated on, possibly at the same time and the result was that she was able to see without her specs. The op was done as day surgery and was quick. Hope all goes well with your father & mother too
