HI..I've downloaded the Embossed Swan Font in the JEF format and am wondering why the letter "S" is larger than the rest of the alpha....it won't sew out in my Janome 300E because it is too large?

This is a question for the digit'izer of the alphabet. The "S" is the only letter that is oversized--doesn't make sense. THe other letters are 139.0 x 142.2 and the s is 140.4 x 145.6. If you have Embird you can reduce the size by 1% until you get it to fit your hoop. The stitch count seems to be the same as the other letters so density shouldn't be affected.
Hopefully the digitizer will adjust the design to match the rest of the alphabet because when you resize, it doesn't go down equally. Lj

The same thing is true for the PES format. I had no problem with the Designer Gallery Studio plus to make it the same size as all the other letters. It changed the size equally. Need help with this send me a PM

I just opened it in my software because I have not used it yet. I rotated it and it fits exactly in the 6x10 hoop. I don't know which hoop you were using, but you could reduce it 10% I think without hurting it. Digitizing people, what is the rule of thumb here?
