France metropole.I have decided that their marriage gift should be home linen that I will embroider.I have thought to kitchen towels, with the days of the week, and for the 2nd who are veterinary both, kitchen towels with Dalmatian. They have a dalmatian dog, that they love very much.I think that I can also embroider some bath towels with their monogram, those of Cute and Cute alphabet will be very well; Have you ideas of other things that I could embroider, now, the young do not use sheet.I hope good advice from you, and when i should have done all those embroideries, I will post them in projects

What about adding a monogram and/or designs to pillow cases or pillow slips? If they do not use sheets then perhaps you could embroider on a duvet cover. I'm sure that they will love whatever you make for them.

I did embroider on a duvet cover and pillow covers, made some nice pillows for the livingroom. You could embroider some potholder, apron for the kitchen.
Hope this helps

I've done 2 bathtowels with the name of girl on 1 and name of man on 1. I then do 2 facecloths with just the initial of the name on it. The hand towel I put a Cupid with the wedding date on it. Everybody I gave that to thought it was a very original idea and loved it. For 1 GD I did a tablecloth in leopard skin and then I made white napkins with buffalos or lions etc and also with some a overlay in plain colour with the same motif as the napkins. Another thing I did was placemats in some skin motif with a napkin with every placemat with design of 1 of the African big 5. The girls all went nuts over it and enjoyed it a lot. Actually there are a lot of different stuff you can think of if you just let the juices flow. Pls show what you make.

Claude, how about t-shirts that say, "Bride" or "mariée and "Groom" or "marié" for each couple. I do them for couples in the US all of the time. Of course you would translate into native language.;)

How about a family heirloom combining both sides of the families on a table cloth,,,,,as kids are born, marriages happen, then it is easy to add on as the years go by....Great to use when they have big family get togethers....deanna
