have you checked out ebay? I have had good luck there in the past when I have bought cards for my Janome 10000.

I looked on ebay. That card was $225. Is that what they normally are prices at? I am lucky that my Janome 350 uses usb sticks.

i seen the same thing on ebay and i was in shock!! i just couldn't believe the price. I'm looking around for sure.

I'd start by asking my dealer and finding out the information you need, then looking around to see what prices are available. I have a janome 10001, which takes a standard compact flash card, it just fits into an adaptor to go into the machine. I'm not sure what the 5700 takes, or if you can do the same.

we also found out the card for the 8000 and 9000 also fit the 5700 much to my friends disgust after selling hers she found they were compatable
