I am feeling pretty good now, I have to use a nebuliser twice a day to get the congestion off my chest but I finally got rid of my headache late yesterday and that was a turning point.

As I wrote on Polly's post: I'm trussed up like a Christmas Turkey, the binding's so tight I can barely breathe, no wonder women in Ye Olden Days were so soft-spoken, they didn't have enough air to get the words out!!!!! LOL!!!

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know how very much I appreciate you all and I missed you all too.

OK, i'm going to have lunch now and then a little bed rest, (maybe with my laptop (shhhh! don't tell Polly))
HUgs and roses to you all my fantastic Cute family, I luvs yas all

So glad you're home and on the 'road to recovery'. Do rest up and get well soon. (Once I overdid after surgery, and ended up paying for it by popping some internal stitches, so take it easy).
Love and (gentle) hugs,
Jacqueline

My dear Meg. How nice to see you are home. I'm so glad Pauline is there to keep us informed & watchdog over you. It'll take a little while but then u will be in top form again. (BTW the tight binding will help with the pain) As I've said before nothing daunts you or holds u back for long. You are one tough lady & I admire you to know end.

So pleased to hear all went well, you're back home and feeling better. Glad you've still got your SOH . Is there a good reason for all this binding other than to ease the pain?? Just what cup size did you order Meganne??? Or are you working on the old Chinese feet-binding practice to reduce size?? C'mon spill the beans, or it's thumb-screws for Polly. Take care, and remember to rest. Cheers.

I am so glad to hear from you! You sound pretty chipper to have just gone through something like you have! You do amaze me with your inner strength. I pray to healing all goes well and you get through the worst of this with minimum amout of stress and pain. You have been on my mind alot for the last few days since I got my computer back and found out what was going on with you. My Mom did not do very well mentally when she went through this many many years ago. Actually, she just gave up for a long time but she did survive that only to go on to something she could not! This was a choice she made for her own lifestyle and it eventually took her at 66. She had these problems for many years and it only got worse after her surgery. Between the cigarettes and other vices, her body just shut down and she gave up. Of course it was many years later before the damage was done and she refused any help. Her lungs finally got the best of her. During those years, I became the Mother and Mom, the child.
You have had a wonderful attitude and the fight in you to get better and I pray that you will be here when you get to be 100! Got to go the Dr. will talk later! Hugs, Linda

Meganne, so glad you are home and in the healing process. I know what you mean when you said you could use a hair dresser. When I had my surgery my husband had to hold an egg sandwich up for me eat, as for my hair, it just didn't get done for awhile.
Be good and don't over do it. God Bless, Judy *4U
