I love embroidering on wallpaper and am always looking for just the right roll when I go to Goodwill...well, I hit the jackpot last week! This was a full roll, with a vintage "ticking" pattern...very suitable for many embroidery designs...however, the first thing I thought of was "baby"...and this time, using an applique design. I thought it really turned out cute! And was eezee-peezee, too!

That's great wallpaper for lots of emb. designs. I'm thinking teapots and teacups would also be good. Do you use stabilizer, if so what kind did you use? GREAT JOB!

Thanks for the comments, Cuties! I hooped my stabilizer (it was a perforated tearaway) and then just floated the piece of wallpaper on top. Very easy to do...

after I lay my piece of wallpaper on top of the stabilizer, I start sewing the design out. This is the first time I've tried applique...I love the way it turned out. When it's done, I stick it in a frame!
