know how you feel. My computer went black recently, but luckily all hard drive okay. However the serial port which my Pfaff card fits!! Well the new computer doesn't have one! So now need and adaptor with a USB to access my designs. Living way out in the country does make things difficult at times.

Some times we make life hard for ourselves with making changes I got a new computer too with Window7 well my Embird program works different on too .The designs will not open in a photo Trying to upgrade it to see if that helps .Lucy i still have a laptop on window xp

My feelings today. Had something on my computer that scared the kajeepers out of me.Spybot S&D picked it it last night. Ran it but couldn't get it all.Windows Defender didn't pick it up and my A/V didn't pick it up.Spybot S&D could only get part of it. I had to run Malwarebytes twice to remove it.And to think..somehow I thought I was going to be able to sew today.I must have been dreaming.

not sure what passport is. Glad you didn't loose your designs. I have spent a year retrieving 8 months of designs. I was able to get most of the ones I bought, but the freebies are all gone. I'll get more!! I don't chase them as much anymore.

A passport is like a flash drive-- USB --It looks like a book and folds a lot .I am still missing a lot and my Quitling designs
