This doily is completely made in the hoop and has the size approx. 6 "x6". I used as a test pale pink cotton and embroidered the border with white sateen stitches. I will make over again with stronger colours. Then is a stronger contrast. Or do have her one idea?

Hilde, what a lovely design, what about doing it in white and then just adding in a colour on the border. to match what ever colour you use for the flowers. Were did you get this design from???? Well done *4U

Das sieht klasse aus! Ich könnte mir das mit 2 Lagen Organza auch sehr gut vorstellen, weil die Kante schön fest ist. Ich werde das auch mal probieren mit Sprühkleber und wassserlöslicher Flieseline. Ein nettes kleines Geschenkchen, danke für die Idee. Blümchen gibt's auch

Nein, nur mit ganz normalem Universalnadel Gr. 80. Das müßte ich auch mal ausprobieren. Ich denke die Stiche sind für den Nadel etwas zu dicht. Müßte mal probieren. Die Idee hatte ich auch schon mal, bin selber gespannt wie es aussehen würde. Liebe Grüße Hilde
