I created this applique design for a small kitchen towel as an Easter gift for my friend but it can be used for anything you like - I will also be using it on the Easter baskets I'm making for my granddaughters. The scalloped border was stitched directly onto the towel using the inbuilt pattern stitches from my machine (a Janome MC5700.)
