table runners as they are getting married in November and want to buy similar runners. My closet Cutie friend and I made the runners together...

So... do we have a new career ahead of us or not?

You never know. For my husbands memorial I had created a slightshow celebrating his life. Shortly after I was asked which company had produced it. I was asked 4 times after that and ended up producing all of them. One requested 200 CD to be burned which were given to people that attended. I am glad you have a happier occasion.

Just goes to show..you never know where that big break will come from. Bigger question is..do you want to do it??? If so, Best wishes on your endeavor!!!! BTW did you post pictures of the runners you did, and where can we see them?

Talk about telepathy! My son said I should make some table runners and put tone-on-tone embroidery
on them, and he reckons they will sell well. So for a long time today I have been looking at sites that sell table runners, to see if it would be better if I bought them ready made, to save on the aggro. of cutting them out etc., Did you actually make yours from scratch? Good luck to you if it all takes off
for you, you'd better get those Metro threads in!

A wonderful compliment for you. Congratulations on your daughter's wedding. Years ago (before my husband got sick) I made a tablecloth, overlay and serviettes with same design on it. I got such a lot of orders it was too much for me alone to handle and I had to hire somebody to help. I did everything from scratch myself. That also brought in lots of other work. So there you are for maybe a big breakthrough. Happy working. Hugs. Annatjie

What a lovely compliment.
Congratulations on your daughter's weddings.

Yes I would say that you could turn it into a business. And in between you could also do wedding garters, ring pillows, overlays and serviettes . I can go on and on.

Hugs Yvonne
