I am putting my pot holder on here & i am asking for help please.I want to make these rag pot holders from the purple strippes you see beside it.I wanted to know if someone out there has this pattern & would write it up for me ??I can slowly do it by trail & air but i would like to have the proper instructions if possible!!I tryed to Google it but i keep getting lost as i am so new to computers & all Can anyone please help me Thanks Carolyn

That looks like braided fabric - possibly, or it could be crochet done with the fabric strips. When I enlarged the pic I tend to lean more toward the crochet. I had started a heart shaped rug with the braided fabric a long time ago - did not ever get it finished. It was done in braided fabri and joined with upholstery thread. I don't know of an embroidery design for it. Sorry.

Yes it is made out of fabric stripps I cut them 1 1/2 inches wide .I now have them pressed in two now to crochet them.I was hopping to find a nice pattern Carolyn

Carolyn, I do hope you find a pattern - I would love a set - like this, too - but I don't crochet.
